One of my favorite cities. You can visit many great places in the city and around (Sintra, Cascais...), but I mainly like the atmosphere of the city, still very original.
I lived there for 4 years from 1994-1999. When I arrived it was a gray city, but at the end it changed so much. Nowadys it has changed even more, unrecognizable! I recommend you to walk every street in El Carmen, the old quarter, you will get many surprises.
