I lived there for 4 years from 1994-1999. When I arrived it was a gray city, but at the end it changed so much. Nowadys it has changed even more, unrecognizable! I recommend you to walk every street in El Carmen, the old quarter, you will get many surprises.

Mi ciudad natal. Una delicia pasear por el antiguo cauce del río, que parte en dos la ciudad, con jardines, fuentes, campos de fútbol...
Si no habeis ido, os la recomiendo encarecidamente. Y no se os olvide probar la horchata y las rosquilletas (pero no junto!)

A mi, valencia no me gusta, para que nos vamos a engañar, de todas formas fui hace bastante tiempo, a ver si vuelvo ahora que la han calatavrizado a ver que tal esa ciudad de las artes y las ciencias, esa parte seguro que me gusta.

TRIP: Las Fallas in Valencia

We have just returned from the annual Las Fallas festival in Valencia, Spain! It was an amazing, crazy, fun, very out-of-the-ordinary celebration! Huge sculptures, or fallas, are made out of wood and papier-mache and are on display in the streets. Parties and fireworks happen all week long and then the fallas are burnt on the final night!
