One of the most romantic cities in the world, specially in autumn. I recommend Barrio Alto and Principe Real square. From the very "special" restaurant owned by John Malkovich "Bica do zapato" (Avenida do Infante Don Enrique, Lisboa. Tel.00 21 881 03 20) , to the small restaurants around Largo do Chiado, Lisbon is a city to enjoy meals.
Nice and small villages in the Ireland´s atlantic coast. Forget your stress and enjoy the beer... lol. Really nice restaurants offering you differen stiles: italian, irish, indian, asian, modern "cuisine", etc.
Try this if you are traveling there:
Cox's Bar
A real turistic village, with a nice downtown full of bars and restaurants. Not many things to do but drink a beer. Chinese restaurants are really expensive (if you compare with south europe chinese restaurants). Italian food restaurants. Nothing impressed me linked with meals here, but a small bakery with a really nice courtyard inside, placed on the main street. Anyway if you want to eat something take a look at Dom Vikingow in Stary Rynek 62, telephone: 48 (061) 8527153.
Great, great, great city. One of my favourite city. Cheap places, nice people and an impressive number of arab monuments. Don´t forget to visit a Hamman (Arab bath), specially those that are not for tourists. The most perfect place in the world if you like cook and meals: From Alexander the Geat to turkish Otoman empire (including bizantine dishes), food and meals in Istanbul is an amazing and very interesting experience. Also the smalls pastries offers you very nice moments.
A village in the border between saharaui refugee camps and tipical algerian village. Full of military, is not allow to use cameras inside city. The algerian security police is always bothering someone at the airport (if you are a person in solidarity with saharauis, I mean). Favourite dish in Tindouf: Local roast chicken, delicious!!!. It is possible to eat camel if you want (really hard meat). Don´t forget to ask for Camel milk, that´s a great experience.
Copenhagen, Denmark (5 reviews)
Don´t forget your winter clothes if you want to visit during Crhistmas time (as I did). Remember to ask for Goulash in any local restaurant. In winter there are few few hours of solar light. The weather can be very hard (-20 Celsius).
